The importance of education in the life of any person cannot be ignored. It shapes individuals in their initial years and then imbibes values that would govern all their choices in life. It is rightly said,” if you are planning for a year, sow rice, if you are planning for a decade, plant  trees, if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.”  No doubt quality of education will determine the destiny  of the nation.

 

It is indeed my honour and a privilege to be the principal of DAV.SR.SEC public School. Cheeka , a brand name which stands for excellence and continuously sets to highest standards. DAV has given this country many renowned personalities and leaders in diverse fields. Education does not mean providing answers. It means equip the child with the means to find the answers for himself and within himself. Education empowers students to discover themselves.-Who  they  are as people. Every child has something in it. The teacher supports them in channelizing resources and their dreams too. DAV Sen. Sec. Public School Cheeka,  school staff has this potential to explore the hidden talent of the students. I am fortunate to have an experienced and committed team, which has brought the school to its present stature. My aim is not only to be an able administrator but also to be a friend, philosopher and guide to students  and teachers whom they can count on and trust at all times. I assure you that my doors will always be open to the students and their parents for any suggestions or guidance.
